The Char Dham Yatra is a sacred pilgrimage route in Uttarakhand comprising
four abodes – Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath this is also famous as Choti Char Dham Yatra. Nestled in the lofty peaks of the Garhwal Himalayas, these four temples are dedicated to some of Hinduism’s most revered deities and attract lakhs of devotees each year. Encircled by seven snow-clad mountain peaks, Hemkund Sahib is a Sikh pilgrimage center beside a glacial lake at an altitude of 4,640 meters.
