Yamunotri- this is the first Dham and is located in Uttarkashi district at 3293 meters above sea level. This is around 226 km away from Haridwar after riding you have to cover a 7 km trek. This is the place where River Yamuna get originate. 

Gangotri- Gangotri is dedicated to ma Gangesh and the origins of the Ganga River, which is 289 km away from Haridwar at 3100 meters above sea level.

Kedarnath- Kedarnath Dham is in Rudraprayag district and one of the main in panch Kedar, this is dedicated to Shiva, located at 3584 meters above sea level. 

Kedarnath is the most famous pilgrimage and it is said that the way to heaven goes from here.

Things to Keep in mind before Planning Char Dham

Here is the list given of the things which you need to keep in mind before doing/planning Char Dham.

2- After completing the Char Dham Yatra do not forget to apply for the trip card.

Chardham Yatra A Guide from Haridwar

This is basic guidance to start your Char Dham Yatra, we hope this will help you.

Day 1- Day First you will start your journey from Haridwar and in the evening you will reach Janaki Chatti/Barkot near Yamunotri to stay and the day first ends here.

Day 2 Perform rituals in the temple do sightseeing and return back to the hotel.

Day 3 Start your tour towards Gangotri the way to Gangotri is beautiful you can stay in Harsil or direct to Gangotri.

Day 4 Get Darsan in Gangotri, have photography and sightseeing then return back to Harsil.

Day 5 On the fifth day your journey starts from Gangotri to Kedarnath but it’s 16 km trekking so stay at Phata, Sonprayag, or Guptkashi.

Day 6 your trekking start now to Kedarnath Dham this is around 18 km and takes around 9 hours to be completed. 

Day 7 wake up in the morning, Kedarnath is the most famous temple so you will have to be in line in order to get darshan and after Morning Arti trek down to Sonpryag.

Day 8 Today you will start your Yatra to Badrinath ji it takes around 5 to 6 hours for you will reach Badrinath Dham in the evening. Go for Evening Aarti and get back to your hotel and take rest.

  Day 9 in the morning be part of the Morning aarti and after darshan goes back to your hotel and enjoy the sightseeing do not visit Mana the first village of India.

Day 10-Heading towards Haridwar.
